    Loan Services Senior Specialist

    About this position:

    Responsible for training and development of team.  Must ensure that issues are identified and resolved and recognize when escalation is necessary.  Responsibilities will also include quality control of data and accurate tracking and reporting of exceptions. Evaluate and identify process improvements.  Provide operational support to branches and assist management with coordinating tasks.  This position is in-office and works out of our headquarters in Glens Falls, New York.

    Responsibilities

    > Provide training, support, and guidance as appropriate to co-workers and customers.

    > Lead and develop team through day-to-day operations, projects, and special assignments to meet department and Company goals.

    > Provide consistent, outstanding internal customer service by anticipating and reacting to customer needs.

    > Formulate and implement strategies and processes to achieve department goals in timely manner.

    > Oversee critical tasks in absence of Team Lead or Manager.

    > Research data for management reports, audits, and projects as assigned.

    > Process and review data for proper authorizations and compliance meeting all department policies and procedures.

    Education/Certifications:

    > Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred

    > 3 years of experience in banking and/or customer service preferred

     

    Skills/Knowledge

    > Extensive knowledge of banking rules and regulations pertaining to loan accounts

    > Ability to analyze and solve problems

    > Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite:  Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

    Physical Demands:

    > Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for brief periods of time.

    > Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and computer mouse and keyboard.

    > Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs.

    The salary range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 commensurate with experience and education.

    Additional compensation may be earned through the Company’s profit-sharing bonus program, subject to individual and company performance.
