    NOTICE OF VACANCY

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

     
    The Lake George Central School District is seeking to fill the position of Administrative
    Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will act as the administrative assistant to the Elementary
    School Principal. A description and qualifications for this position can be found here.

    SALARY: $38,525

    RESIDENCY: Candidates must have been legal residents of Warren County or a contiguous
    county (Essex, Hamilton, Saratoga or Washington) for at least four (4) months immediately
    preceding the date of exam.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
         A. Bachelor's degree or higher and one (1) year of full-time paid experience as a secretary or as an
             office manager providing fiscal, personnel and/or office services in support of a principal or
             administrator; or
         B. Associate’s degree and three (3) years of full-time paid experience as a secretary or as an office
             manager providing fiscal, personnel and/or office services in support of a principal or
             administrator; or
         C. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and five (5)
              years of full time paid experience as a secretary or as an office manager providing fiscal,
              personnel and/or office services in support of a principal or administrator.

    The position will be filled based on Civil Service requirements. A provisional appointment will be
    made with an examination to be held at a later date. The candidate must meet civil service
    requirements for appointment following the establishment of an eligible list.
