    BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER
     
    The Warren County Department of Public Works is seeking a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Building Maintenance Worker. The Building Maintenance Worker performs a variety of semi-skilled building repair and maintenance tasks; does related tasks as required.
     
    SALARY: $44,418 (2024 Base Salary); Full-time with benefits.
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Two (2) years of experience in either general building construction or maintenance work in one or more of the standard trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical; or
    2. Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
    SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Possession of a Class D New York State driver’s license at time of appointment.
     
    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND ATTRIBUTES:
    Good knowledge of modern buildings and grounds maintenance and repair practices;
    Knowledge of the practices and techniques of one or more of the standard trades;
    Mechanical aptitude, industry, good physical condition, dependability, manual dexterity.
     
    Authority to fill this job is subject to the approval of the Board of Supervisors.
