    NOTICE OF VACANCY
     
    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNT CLERK
     
    The Warren County Department of Social Services is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time position of Principal Account Clerk. The Principal Account Clerk is responsible for independently performing difficult and complex account keeping functions, assigning, and supervising the account keeping activities in the Child Support Investigation unit. The work is performed under general supervision of the unit supervisor in accordance with unit policies and procedures allowing for independent judgment in planning and carrying out the details of the work.  
     
    SALARY:  $ 47,667 (Base Salary)
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business administration or related field; or
    2. Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field and two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in maintaining financial accounts and records; or
    3. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in maintaining financial accounts and records.
    The position will be filled based upon Civil Service requirements. A provisional appointment will be made with examination to be held at a later date. Candidate must meet Civil Service requirements for appointment following establishment of the Eligible List.
