    Key Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Direct and coordinate activities of the Lodge by overseeing all operating departments.
    • Development of strategies and initiatives to maximize the financial and operational performance.
    • Ensure staffing & training plans provide the support necessary to consistently execute the Service Mantra – Friendly, Clean, Fast, & Safe Service.
    • Provide guidance, counseling, and development for the Lodge management team.
    • Develop, prepare, and deliver written reports, correspondence and formal presentations.
    • Monitoring of the performance of the hotel through verification and analysis of guest satisfaction systems.
    • Ensures implementation of appropriate technology solutions to increase customer service, hotel revenues and create efficiencies.
    • Ensures good safety practices of team members and guests, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures.
    • Management and implementation of applicable preventive maintenance programs that protect the physical assets of the hotel.
    • Is visible throughout the property on a daily basis and conducts audits and inspections of Lodge operations, including guest rooms.
    • Ensure purchasing/receiving procedures for operating of Division supplies are followed at all times.
    • Build effective relationships throughout the Resort & Corporate management team to ensure the effective execution of the Resort’s business plan.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
    Organizational Structure: Reports to Park President

    Skills & Qualifications:
    • Minimum of four (4) years of progressive hotel, tourism or hospitality leadership experience, with a minimum of two (2) years at a management level
    • Strong analytical skills to monitor and analyze market trends and internal performance trends
    • Experience and training in Kaizen/Six Sigma preferred
    • Accounting/financial skills to effectively prepare and monitor financial plans
    • Ability to influence and promote change through team building and staff development skills
    • Computer literacy, plus knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera products is desired
    • Must be willing to work varied shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays

    Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 / annually
