• Shipping and Receiving Logistics Coordinator

    Primary Role: Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments involving inventory. Duties include verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material and arranging for the transportation of products. May prepare items for shipment.

    Tasks: Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.

    Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.

    Prepare documents, such as work orders, or shipping orders, to route materials. Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.

    Schedule and monitor international and domestic shipments.

    Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.

    Support teammates as needed in the completion of projects.

    Report to work punctually and reliably Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

    Qualifications: Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, consistent form and documentation management, and workplace terminology.

    High School Diploma Required

    Must possess experience with International small package and/or large freight shipping methods. Familiarity with LTL/Freight shipping software strongly preferred.

    Computer skills using MS Office, and ability to use, design and implement forms effectively

    Strong communication skills both spoken and written, ability to communicate effectively with foreign speakers, and professional level phone and online customer service skills.
