• Capital CFO+ Celebrates Local Impact with Second Annual Capital CFO+ Cares Event

Capital CFO+, a full-service outsourcing firm specializing in accounting, marketing and human resources, recently hosted its second annual "Capital CFO+ Cares” event, aimed at celebrating the incredible impact of their clients, local businesses and nonprofits dedicated to creating positive change and growth within the community. The event was held at The Inn at Saratoga on Thursday, January 16th and was an opportunity for the Capital CFO+ team to come together with their clients to celebrate partnership and community impact. “With so much of our work being done remotely, it was an opportunity for our clients and team to come together and get to know each other,” says Sabrina Houser, Founder and President of Capital CFO+. “It was a wonderful reminder of our connection.”

Each year, Capital CFO+ chooses one local nonprofit client to honor with a donation at the Cares event. This year’s honoree was The Connect Center for Youth, a special nonprofit dedicated to revolutionizing youth empowerment through innovative S.T.E.A.M. programs. The Cohoes based organization provides local young people with the tools, technology, and support they need to build brighter futures. Their state-of-the-art facility includes a certified professional kitchen, a S.T.E.A.M. lab complete with a music studio and black box theater, and plans for a growing technology hub. The work Ben Williams [founder of the Connect Center] is doing for our community is something that needs to be shared,” said Sabrina. "He is working with kids to find out their passions and drive and having them work towards a goal. He is standing with them so their voices are louder. I honor and respect his work and him as a person"

Working with both nonprofits and for profits gives Capital CFO+ a unique perspective on just how much these two worlds need each other and can learn from, complement and support each other. That’s what the Cares event celebrates – meaningful connections between the Capital CFO+ team, business leaders and impactful organizations within our community. Capital CFO+ fosters these partnerships day in and day out through its work as a full-service outsourcing firm and as a company that cares.
